The genius of Methodism has always been its small groups also known as the Class Leader System. Class Meetings were created to watch over one another in love, to help each other work out their soul salvation, to help people discuss the state of their relationship with God, and to help form real disciples of Jesus Christ. Each member is assigned to a class and class leader (sub-pastor) who is concerned about the well-being and the spiritual growth of the members to whom they are assigned. For more information, please see any member of the Board of Stewards.
